Sunday recap // We celebrated the rock of our fami Sunday recap // We celebrated the rock of our family with sleepy eyes and really, really full hearts this week. Transitioning to our new home, jobs and community has come with a level of exhaustion I don’t think we could have anticipated. So some days all we can do is find a few seconds of quiet and share a quick hug with the sun on our faces before the next need has to be met, and we know, this is a season and we are resting in that. On Thursday we celebrated Teddy’s birthday and it was the boost of joy we all needed and the perfect excuse to celebrate all week long with family and friends- because we love a good week long birthday celebration around here! Highlights of the week included a zoo date with our favorite tiny friends, hitting the hiking trails around our house, creating a new rhythm of morning bible study and coloring time, and the dress up still going strong around here and totally cracking me up. The highlight of the week was a dinner out with friends to celebrate Teddy. Not sure how we got so blessed to have this crew, but I will never ever take these friendships for granted. I hope you got to enjoy the sun on your skin this week- even if it was just for a minute!
