John + Danielle’s Burgundy and Navy Fall Wedding at Plum Hollow Country Club

Danielle and John met one another and got engaged at the same location where they said ‘I do’. I have to imagine there will be many more anniversary and life celebrations at this gorgeous spot!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for these two to tie the knot. The warmth of summer was just holding on in Michigan as the leaves were just starting to hint at the first colors of fall. Danielle and John had thought of every detail, which made our job a dream. We were swooning over the flowers, gorgeous ceremony location and meticulously manicured grounds all day long.

I love how invested both Danielle and John were in their wedding day. They both shared in the planning and did everything they could to make their guests feel loved and cared for. Danielle and I actually went to high school together, and it was so much fun reconnecting during the planning process and catching up with past classmates throughout the day. I just couldn’t be more excited for Danielle, that life brought her John and his daughter.

As I was editing these photos I saw an image that Ted captured of John tearing up during Danielle’s vows. It so perfectly summed up the day. I love how openly everyone in both Danielle and John’s families shared their overwhelming love and joy for this occasion- Danielle’s Dad’s reaction to his first look with his daughter, John’s sweet dance with his daughter, and the way Danielle’s brother meticulously planned the ceremony to celebrate his younger sister and the love of her life. Every single moment and detail pointed to the joining of these two families and their pure excitement to share life together. Danielle and John, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us share this perfect day with you! Cheers!
